2What types and sizes of photos and videos can I upload?
Photos can be in JPG, JPEG, GIF, or PNG format. The recommended size is 500 px wide by 700 px high. Files must be smaller than 5 MB.
Videos must be less than one minute long.
3Does the universe file have to be a specific type?
The Universe data file must be in CSV format. If your file contains special characters—such as accent marks, hyphens, or umlauts—please ensure it is saved in CSV UTF-8 format.
4What information do I need to have in the universe?
Only a phone number is required to send. Be sure the area code and phone number are combined under the same header.
5What is a segment size?
A segment is 160 characters, including spaces and carriage returns.
6How many segments can I have in one message?
Your pricing includes one message segment (up to 160 characters). Additional segments are charged at $0.0075 each. You can use as many segments as needed, but we recommend limiting messages to three segments.
7What is the difference between SMS and MMS?
SMS is a plain text message, while MMS is a message that includes images or video.
8What is 10DLC registration, and how does it help?
10DLC stands for 10-digit long code. It’s a type of phone number businesses use to send text messages to customers. Any business or campaign sending text messages is required to register their 10DLC. 10DLC helps businesses:

9How fast can I launch a text campaign?
Quick Text is a fast service. With all required information prepared, you can typically send a message within 30 minutes or less.
10What information do I get from the reports?
The reports will tell you the success and delivery rate of your message. We also offer a response report and detailed phone carrier report.
11How long does it take for a text to send and be complete?
It depends on the size of the universe. Often it is completed within a few minutes once deployed. Larger universes can take longer.
12Do you have toll free or local numbers you send from?
We send messages from local phone numbers. Clients can choose from available area codes within their state.
13Can you guarantee response numbers?
We cannot guarantee responses.
14Can I include a URL in my text messages?
You can include URLs in your text messages, either as standard links or as unique, personalized links from your universe file. Shortened links are not recommended at this time.
15Can I create custom responses to incoming messages?
We do not offer custom responses at this time in the client portal. Please contact your representative if you have questions.
16How far in advance can I schedule a texting campaign?
You can schedule a texting campaign as far in advance as you like.
17How fast do I get reports?
Reports are generated in real time. Data will begin to show up as the message is going out.
18What is the minimum and maximum size for the Universe?
We have no size limits at this time.
19How quickly can I confirm that my message was sent?
Delivery statuses update in real time as messages are sent.
20Is it possible to cancel a message once it’s been scheduled or sent?
f the message hasn’t started sending, contact your Alliance Forge Representative to cancel it.
21Can I get reports with my Company logo on it instead of AFC?
Yes! Please send us your company logo and we will make sure they are added to your reporting and account.
22How many people need to approve a message before it goes out?
Only one person needs to approve the message.
